What kind of Flower is this?

It's been growing in my yard every year for at least 18 years and it smells really good. We have never known exactly what it is.

Our crinums aren't real happy in this heat...

My fiance is a horticulturist and grows lots of stuff here.

 I call this thing "Fernzilla" It doesn't leave much room on the back deck... Its about 5 feet across.

That fern is impressive. I have a few of them growing like weeds (in that I never planted them) around the drip edge of the house. I have a fiveV crimp metal roof so the dew drips off pretty heavy in certain areas making tropical micro zones in my otherwise desert conditions around here. The summer rains are late this year.
