That is a LONG time for a butt that size. What temp did you smoke at and when did you wrap?  Looks great though.

9 pound butt.. smoked at 225-230.. Had a few issues keeping temp... wrapped at 165... It tastes great..

Well that is a good size one. Charcoal does seem to create issues from time to time............more time for beer though biggrin.gif

Thinking I may have to go to coal in the future. but I just bought 200 pounds of Kingsford..  Plus my smoker is hand me down Pro Q and one of the door is broken.. But if the meat tastes good that is all that matters.. And yes the beer was goodbiggrin.gif
