I would guess these are standard beef ribs, not prime as they stated, which would normally be much thicker and much meatier. Notice how the bone curves more in yours. None to little curve in mine.

Great looking ribs man! Nice smoke ring, I bet they were delicious. I did some beef ribs too this weekend, and even if they don't have a ton of meat on them, they are my favorite thing to smoke. Great job!
 
Looks like a successfull smoke. Sorry they were too fatty for you.
