Doing a small turkey boulder today. Going to get a rubb of MC BBQ seasoning and a coating of CT.
Starting the lump.
And some pellets.
Turkey boulder with MC/CT
We sold out hot tub so the gazebo is going to be home to my MAK, MC and Lil'Tex
Dont use the tub anymore after the pool was put in a couple years ago anyways.
PR36 Doing its thing on the boulder.
Yeah Al i guess i need some lattice for it to.
The turkey boulder is ready to take off the grill.
Take the netting off to.
How bout some Franks to kick it up some.
Now wrap it and let it get juicy and happy.
That looks great Nepas - I think you might be happier with the gazebo if you also did a couple of sides with Plexiglas inside the lattice and allowed them to swing open and shut for those windy days. Did that with a Spa we had when I lived in a wind tunnel and it worked real nice
Them bears are cutting wind again....HA
Getting ready to cut the baby boulder.
You can see where the meat glue was used here to bond the dark to white meat. Done to keep moist.
Going to be good cut into a salad.
If'n y'all run out of Gorilla Glue-----Transglutaminase (TG or TGase), better known as “Meat Glue".
Just so you know, I have used Gorilla Glue on a few Bears, so it isn't only for gluing gorillas!!!!
Activa is just a brand name of TG. Activa comes with several different letter suffixes for different meats and processes.
My Bears all have stress relief cuts in the back, so they can't possibly build up any pressure.
BTW: I did not high-jack this thread. I'm replying to NEPAS (the originator of this thread).
