Bacon supply is running low here and thought I'd do a couple more slabs for us and friends. I paid to much for them but boy are they nice....I can't wait till I pull them out next weekend for a little smoke.

Obligatory Teaser pic's;

the small one, 11 pounds'

Great looking bellies Dan!

It's not too bad paying a little high, as long as you get nice bellies like that!

The worst belly I ever got was also the highest price!   Not a happy Bear!

See ya next week,

Bear

Very nice looking slabs Dan.those are gonna make some real pretty slices.

Nice looking slabs and I look forward to more Qview

Dang you really get some nice looking bellies.  Most of the ones I get are pretty fatty so I have to do a lot of trimming.

Congrats man

Those are nice meaty bellies... they should make terrific bacon...

Dan, Morning.

You had to get the bellies from a local farmer. Organically grown and Heirloom variety pigs.

Todays factory pigs don't have bellies like that.

Am I wrong? If so, I haven't learned as much I thought from watching Sherlock Holmes ???

Dave!!... the two bellies I got when I bought a case last month were as thick or thicker.

They were from a commercial plant in Ga.

Maybe this is a good time of the year to buy a case of bellies!!

I got some slices 2 1/2 inchs wide.
