Nice looking everything there Bear....house , flowers, steaks etc....perfect color on that meat and shrooms on top...yum. Looked a little overdone for Al though....I didn't see a blood puddle where you cut it.
Thanks a lot Willie!

That's about as rare as I go---The blood is puddled under the steak pretty good---zoom in that opened cut.

It dripped on my leg, and Mrs Bear thought I cut myself again.

great looking place bear,   i'll take one of those steaks anyday     i'm confused though   please tell me  were you not snowed in about two weeks ago?  if so   the yard sure did make a quick recovery
Thank You Rick!!!

Our snows were a little longer than two weeks ago, but it did recover real well. It must be because I never bag my grass, never fertilize or lime, and we got quite a bit of rain the last 3 weeks.

My yard might be healthy mainly because it's about 90% weeds---As long as I cut it every 5 to 8 days, it stays nice and green.

As usual a great thead Bear.  I do not recognize your place without all the white stuff. Did you redecorate? It cant be warm there yet LOL

Oh Bear. You cooked my very favorite meal of all time. Looks fantastic. All of it exactly how I like it. I must of missed the invitation. I can't imagine someone cooking my favorite things and not inviting me.

Thanks Scar,

Yup we're up to 40s in the morning & high 60s in afternoon.

It took a lot of cans of spray paint (green) before I took those pictures.

Bear,

As you know Gary and I did an exchange, we also exchange information as to which threads I can open and look at without having a seizure or causing my 'puter to freeze up from seeing that white stuff!  Now that your pics are back to normal I can start responding to your threads again. LOL

Great looking meal, I confess I would love some taters like that, but mine always fall apart when I try to take them out of the pan, ...sigh.

Ya did good bro,

Gene

Nope---White stuff all gone!

Dang it Bear!! How is it that your mid-week meal is better than anything I can throw together on the weekends? And free to boot!!!!   Yeah, a little jealous.

Looks great though!

With a little luck, my 2 boys will continue to make me proud too. They are only 2 and 4 though. I got a little time to wait for them to hook me up like that.

The place looks great buddy.

Thanks Cheesee,

LOL---I was going to make him a Major League pitcher, but that didn't pan out.

When he was a kid, he could pitch with either hand.

He eventually became Right handed like the Old Bear!

Can you imagine that??? A switch-pitcher????

Managers load their  line-ups with right handed batters or left-handed batters, depending on the pitcher.

Righties can usually hit lefty pitchers best, etc.

So they bring in a lefty pinch hitter to bat against a righty pitcher-------pitcher switches to pitching left handed.

2 & 4 year olds are a lot of fun, but they aren't much help.

Mine used to get all excited to go out & help Dad shovel snow!

2 shovels later---shovel lays in driveway---kid rolling around in snow!

Bear

LOL, You're right about the no help. My boys will "help" the entire time, but they usually create more work for Dad.

I have the same plans. My 4 year old throws really well with both hands, but better with his left. Really good left handed bat as well.

He can't start T ball till he's 5 "b-day in September) so that's next spring. I think by the time we play ball in the back yard all summer he'll be way beyong the skill set

of t ball.

You aren't kidding. I have a 16 year old nephew throwing an 87+ fastball. Pitches for North Penn. Also have a freind with a son pitching for Boyertown.

I can't wait to take my son to some games. He loves watching the Phillies with dad. Takes me back to my childhood....Tear.

Sorry to hijack your thread with baseball talk....

                                                                                   GO  MEAT!!!!!

Sounds like a great Dad Bear...Mine did not take me enough..My Dad never owned anything but a cane pole and a Brim hook. I bought him his first casting rod and tackle box full of baits when I was 13yrs old and working making .50 and hour.  I also bought him his first shotgun when I was in the service. He used to borrow one to go hunting...
