Thanks to the creative minds on this forum, I tried another idea I never thought of - smoking burgers.  They were excellent!  I grind my own and I know some will say to let the beef do the flavors on it's own but....

I want to know what options people have done to spice them up. Specifically, what have people stuffed their burgers with (not bread crumbs or oatmeal or extenders, filling that adds a lot of flavor )?  Also has anyone put any sauces, rubs, etc.,. on the burgers?

Well I have yet to try burgers on the smoker? Don't know why just haven't. There are alot of people here that have used the STUFZ BURGER press. They look amazing everytime I see them?

Now we have stuffed a many burgers and they even have a new fangled thinga mabobby to make them too. You can also mix anything like Jalapenos and peppers and garlic for a good burger too.

I havn't got a STUFZ, but i have smoked many burgers.

Matter of fact, that's the only way i cook them.

I have tried them with garlic,onion,moore's,soy sauce,chipotle...............and on,and on.

There all good to me(because there smoked)

I'll sometimes mix in some montreal steak seasoning when I'm making the burgers.  Sometimes just some chopped jalapeno and garlic.  Most of the time I'll just patty them up and sprinkle on some seasonall or lowreys.

I love stuffed burgers. Some of my favorites are grilled onions, jalopeno's, avocado, all kinds of cheeses (blue cheese is killer), cooked mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes. Let you imagination run wild and have fun with it

This isn't a stuffed idea but really good.

Cheese and then some BBQ sauce on the burger.

On top of that put some French's fried onions (The stuff in the can you use for string bean casserole).

Really good.

They all sound great. I have yet to try "em,but wonder if you could tell me how how long it takes and what cooker temperature along with the internal temp. Thanks. The stuffed hamburgers really sound good !!
