Hi all~

I thought I would share a tri tip that I smoked today. Smoked for an hour and a half at 225 in an MES. I also did some Baby Backs that are almost done. My rub is as follows:

1/2 cup Paprika

1/4 cup Black Pepper

1/4 cup Sugar

3 Tablespoons Salt

3 Tablespoons Chili Powder

2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder

2 Tablespoons Onion Powder

2 Tablespoons Cayenne

It CAME OUT INCREDIBLE!! It was the most juicy tri tip ever not to mention that great smoked flavor. I used mesquite for this. I think next time I will sear it on the Q on both side to give that char... Overall the aftermath was Awesome!

^^^ After I let it rest for 20 and slicing into it I robbed a couple of pieces before I snap a picture...sorry guys I couldn't resist.

Looks good from here near Tahoe. Gotta love the Tri Tip
 
Great looking tri tip. That's one of the biggest one's I've seen. Course here in FL we don't get to see too many.
