Hello all.  These are a few pics of my first bone-in turkey breast smoked in my MES 40.  This was the best turkey we have ever eaten! I have deep fired a dozen or so and still like them but this was hands down the best.  It was so moist and flavorful as I injected it with a butter and garlic conconction. We kept the sides simple as the kids can be a little picky:). I believe I will only cook them this way from now on.  I also did some salmon with an orange and dill rub that my wife still raves about.  I will get better with the pics as I seem to be in too big a hurry to eat it:)

Thanks for all the info on this site as that is where I got the info with regards to meat and BBQ temp.

Scott

That sure is a beautiful bird. Great color on it.

What wood did you use on it?

Thanks Cowgirl and bmudd. I used a mix of apple and hickory as that was what I had on hand. The taste was amazing. I killed off the majority of the leftovers just picking at today cold:).

The Bird Looks Great and I love the plater it is on...

Nice Job Scott...
