I am new to the WSM. Never heard of loose door issues. Did the upper grate mod and will be drilling for the cables soon.

Took them out at 195....couldn't wait any longer.

 

Very tasty..lots of crisp bark.

The Woman does not like the crispy....

All in all..a darn good smoke for the 2nd time with the WSM.

It got up in the temps near 300 a couple times,so it is kinda dry on the edges.

The finishing suace does wonders.

Can't really spot for sure which rub is which...both excellent!!!

Thanks fellas & Ladies for all the nice comments.

I am going to love this thing.

BTW.. the Woman just warmed some up and said "Ohh My!! This is most excellent today!!"

The finishing sauce was mixed in last nite while still hot. And she added some this AM.

Didnt get it rolling yet, It is is one of the pliles of to do stuff.

I do appreciate it..

 

  The WSM is gonna be my main smoker and I will be using the MES for sausage and bacon etc.
