New here and new to smoking!
I did slow cook ribs twice last year on the propane grill and they were fantastic. temp control by wedging tongs in the lid was fun. This was without smoke so I am really looking forward to doing the smoke thing.
I got a used Weber Performer for 100 bucks last night and read day one of the 5 day course from this site.
This weekend I hope to do my dry run burns to learn temp control! If they go well, maybe get some chicken on there. I'm saving the ribs and such for when I'm more confident. :)
