My name is Adam from Central IL. I have been reading threads on this site for a couple of months now and finally got the guts to sign up. Everybody seems very friendly and helpful here.
I am new to the smoking world but must say I am loving it so far. Up until a few weeks ago I would just use my charcoal Weber grill to smoke little things every once in a while. Finally went and bought a "smokey mountain" propane smoker. Don't really have anything to compare it to but seems to be a pretty good smoker.
Smoked the best piece of meat I have personally ever made last week. 8# boston pork butt. Used the post from meowey on "basic pork butt". It turned out amazing.
