Congrats!

The tank looks great, but the land there looks a little too vertical!

Congrats, now you have something to start your build. It's all good my friend.

Just wanted to update this post, I went looking around our local area before I committed to anything, and it's a good thing I did, check this out:

I hit the MOTHERLOAD in tanks!!!! Went to lincoln CSS over behind North 27th Wally world and talked to them about their red X'd tanks. I got the prices, don't die when you see this:

120 UPRIGHT - $30

250 Standard - $35

500 Standard - $40

1k   Standard - $50

Only requirements is that you have to bring the equipment and load and haul away yourself. The tanks are 99% empty but are recommended to be purged prior to being cut in to.

I'm about to buy  a COUPLE 500s and maybe a 1K if I can get the equipment to load and haul away!!!!! PAY DIRT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crap, i can't find my original smoker concept thread, oh well, this thread will work. I've been playing around with the idea of a 250 v a 500 gallon tank tonight. From what the masses came up with, a 250 is roughly equal to a Lang 84. Well, I went big because I don't want to go home. I went with the 500 gallon tank and my smoker concept though not drawn to scale, if the math is done correctly (anyone feel free to challenge so I know if i'm right or not, seriously), i should get 59sq ft of cooking space out of a 500 gallon tank. That's twice the cooking space of a Lang 108 at a fraction of the cost, I think. Again, feel FREE to comment, I'm very stoked and am looking forward to building this Halbringer of Q to life with the help of some great local guys and family.
