Hi All,

I am new to smoking and this site and very excited. My husband got me a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker for christmas and the book backyard BBQ the art of smokology. And I have read now 3 times. I have now smoked pork butt now twice. The 1st was good but not great. The 2nd was better in some ways and not so great in others.  I have a 16 year old daughter and 2 dogs that think that they are more human than dog.  We enjoy going on the bikes and then hangin and grilling afterwards. I work for the school district so i get the summers off, however I do grill all year round no matter the weather.
