i split it in half. made one with my own bbq sauce. and the other with the finishing sauce you guys recomended. i really enjoyed both . i bet tomorrows sand will be even better......thanks guys .
looks good, even with the issues you had. At work when I do them in the oven I'll take all the juice and put in a saucepan after skimming some fat and add brown sugar, ketchup, whoosy sauce and some yellow mustard and boil it down some. The thicken some with a corn starch slurry add back into the meat and hold it in a hot box till service. Yummm
