That looks real good. I've been away from the forum for a while but this is my first thread back. I picked a good one! Killer looking v-day meal. Your wife is a lucky lady.

Looks beautiful.  I've been happily married for 23 yrs and three grown kids, it's stuff like this, especially the roses, that make the years fly by trouble free.  Did you use any smoke? If so, what kind?  How did the lobster taste smoked? Did the smoke penetrate the meat of the lobster even though you cooked it in the shell?  It would stay moist in the shell, but does it get enough smoke that way? By the way, it looks like one tail was pre-cooked and the other was not.  Boiling/cooking a lobster turns it red/orange color. You can buy them pre cooked in the store.

RB, don't know how I missed this post but man you went all out!  However, I bet she is worth every dime and all the time you spent preparing it for her.  I am sure she was one happy woman!  I have only 2 questions! 1) Did you use smoke or just heat?  2) What is it with squash and all you SMF people?   I like it in the summer, the little yellow jobs that you slice up and fry but leave the rest of it for you guys.  Thanks so much RB for sharing it with us I know the Mrs. Loved it!

Your SMF Friend,

Barry
