I've got a GSM (not the wide one) and I've outgrown it...I don't have an arm and a leg to spend, but it only holds two chryo packs of Sams butts, (4 butts) and I love to have something twice as big that would hold 8 butts.  Whats the closest I can get without breaking the bank!  Thanks guys!

Prob the big block GOSM or a Smoke Vault 24

Thanks for the reply bmudd...do you know if either the GOSM or the Smoke Vault 24 have moveable shelves...it seem in my current narrow GOSM the butts are always a little too tall, and I have to improvise with the racks...does anyone know if the racks in the Masterbuilt XL are adjustable?  Thanks for the help guys!

I have a Smoke Vault and the shelves are moveable in that.  I don't think it would hold 8 butts unless they were small ones.  I have done 4 that were 15# each in it, and have also done 6 whole pork loins.  I noticed that Gander Mountain has the Smoke Vault for $300.  I bought one there a bit over a year ago that was the Browning "brand" on clearance for $180.  I couldn't see any difference between them.

The big block GOSM will do.  I have had 8 butts in it with no problems.  If the racks are not in your preferred position I have adjusted them by hanging them from the shelf rail with 4 large S-hooks..one on each corner.....or 2 strung together in each corner to get it lower.

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback.  I was able to go down to Bass Pro and check out the Masterbuilt XL, really liked it aside from the "water pan" chip holder situation...I'll have to fix that myself...but I decided to go with it.  Again, thanks for all the help.  This is a great place...for sure...thanks Jeff.

Wow that was a change - from propane to electric - welcome to the watt burner club

It's amazing what they call a water pan and smoke box...anyhow, it looks pretty well put together....make a few mods and get my smoke on!!!
