WOW What can I say? Had some family and friends over.So I smoked my 1st chickens today.right after if did a batch of beef jerky.It was only about 15 out side.I did them for 3 1/2 hrs in the smoker {only could get it to 225 today} then put then in the oven on 350 for about 45 min.They were done at half time. WOW! I dont think I have ever had chicken that good in my life.The wife did some speggti squash and some chicken rice. Everybody loved it as well.Great flavor and nice and moist.pics coming...Thanks for all the great info on this site!

I assume that the raw picture at the bottom was the prep?

Have you ever trussed a bird?

Excellent work it only gets better and better.
 
The birds look great. Glad they tasted good too. Trussing is where you tie up legs and wings kind of bondage for poultry
