Well if I can't laugh at my own mistakes, I can't laugh at others. As far as the ladder goes, it is one of many that I own for my business and really didn't miss it, but as far as the pork goes I wish I had the bark on the pork, that I had on the ladder. It was black, crispy and after I turned off the gas it even flared up like a good old grease fire, but I will say that if the ladder would have been pork, it would have been delicious!!! All in all, after all of the drama, no one was hurt, the pork came out great anyway !!!! and I have a great story of how I started 2011......

It came out great, I could smell it and taste it all the way through the meat, but keep in mind that I love garlic ( a lot) and I don't think that I can ever over do it with garlic (my personal taste). Now my son did say that it was a bit too much, but he doesn't like it as much as I do.....I have a dip recipe that I make that calls for fresh onions, garlic, cream cheese, sour cream and mayo. It has such a garlic and onion taste that my kids will not be in the same room with the dip......The forks were to get the Butts out of the smoker, I pulled it by hand with gloves on.
