Here is my elaborate and highly complicated door stop to keep the door off the fenders.

This weekends project............. 5 briskets, 7 racks of ribs and a spatcocked turkey......  Here is the food first going on. I set my alarm for 2:00 but didn't realize it was set for 2:00 p.m.  So I am two hours behind schedule.

Sweet build!!! Great job!!! Nice pics, Yesterday's pile-o-meat looks great!!!

I would love/hate living next to you!!!!

I'm glad to hear i'm not the only one who sets his clock for the wrong time of day, stupid alarms (AM/PM???)

Here is the results of this weekends work.  I got started on the removable tounge.  Notice the down angle on the tounge,  I put this here to elevate the firebox a few more inches of clearence for transporting.  It also (unknowingly) acts as a shock absorber.  We will find out if this is a good thing or not on the first test.

It is done.  I finished the removable tounge, the wood box, and wired it for lights.  It is painted.  I knocked together an eight rack rib rack from the straps left over.  The only thing I want to make is a pig holder.  I want to make to racks that will pinch a pig between them and it will hang from the hook at the top of the smoke chamber.  No rush on this as my wife refuses to eat a pig cooked like this, but it will be done.  Here are the finished product.

You can see I ran the wires way off to the side to keep them away from the heat.  I made an extension cord to run from the truck to trailer you can see the extension holder I made up.
