Get me to the station on time... tamale making station that is.

I caught a rare moment when Gloria agreed to let me take some pics of the tamale assembly.

Station.jpg

From left to right; folded tamales, NM green chile, cheese, masa.

The masa is what holds it all together.

Cheese.jpg

Monterey Jack cheese.

Chile.jpg

Masa with cheese and chile.

Wrapped.jpg

No buttons, no bows... but it's wrapped. No plated pics, they'll be steaming for a few more hours... I think I can wait.

Thanks for your time,

Rich & Glora
