I haven't been around for a while
My FIL is up from FLA and we always make a brisket for him, so today seemed like a good day. Fired up the Egg with Royal Oak lump and some hickory.
Rubbed down a 6 pound brisket flat with Simply Marvelous Cherry rub. While I was at it, I threw on a couple of 3 pound chuckies, also rubbed down with Cherry rub. Not sure what that will turn into, but I will come up with something.
I pulled the plate setter and just threw on some potatos.
Took these bad boys out of the fridge to warm up a little. I'll try not to screw them up.
They will get some kosher salt and a little pepper then onto the heat.
