The bark was like eating candy, got a big smile from momma & the dogs.

Congrats on a great smoke, and thanks for sharing the Q View too. It's all good my friend.

It looks great congrats on the first of what hopefully will be many fine smokes in the new smoker

Man that looks AWESOME! I've been planning a smoke house build, but don't quit have the $$. About how much you got in it?
I used a camp stove that I have had for about 15 years, then had to buy about $60 worth of lumber, I also had the corrugated steel for the inside. So I guess my out of pocket cost was around $60-$70, oh I also had a roll if insulation laying atoun that I used. The smoker worked great, I was able to hold the tem steady @ 250º I dont have a thermometer mounted outside yet so I had to open it quite a bit to check temps, but it was very quick to recover the lost heat. I know now what kind of temp I can hold so I won't have to babysit the next smoke so much, I will trust it more. But even as much as I had to watch it for the first smoke, it took much less tending than the fire heated drum smoker I was using, besides I had a good time building it.

That is one great looking PB. Congrats on the successful smoke
