Greetings from NY!

Thread Starter

Hi all.  My name is Rich and I'm from Long Island, NY.  Always been a big grill type of guy and recently struck a huge interest in smoking.  I used my Weber BBQ grill as a smoker a few times to make pulled pork, came out good - but now I am ready to take it to the next level!

I purchased a Master Forge Double Door Vertical Propane Smoker from Lowe's yesterday.  It's all assembled and I just finished seasoning it - so I'm ready to christen her!

Thanks for having me!

Welcome to SMF - good luck with the new smoker. Used to love to get smoked Mozzarella from the LI delis but when I went back a couple of years ago the deli owner told me that the fire department made them stop smoking it in the stores cause 5 burned down in just a couple of years
