I did a burger post monday night and in the discussion that followed I mentioned my pork burgers. It made me get a serious craving for them so I made them tonight and thought I would share. I start with 90/10 ground pork. I put the pork in a bowl and mix with salt, coarse pepper, garlic powder, chili flakes, hot sauce, and carolina mustard bbq sauce. The mustard sauce has cider vinegar, mustard, brown sugar, and assorted spices. I just get the store bought stuff but I would imagine its easy to make. I know Stickey Finger's and Cattlemans make this style of sauce. Its sweet and tangy with a touch of heat. I call these Wilbur's nightmare beacuse they are pork burgers topped with bacon. Overkill I know but hell everything is better with bacon. Grilled em at 450 for about 16 minutes. Amelia made me some green bean casserole beacuse I love it and for some reason she loves me.
