Got me some breasts in the slaughterhouse brine, as well. Tip really created a gem when he shared that with us years ago PDT_Armataz_01_34.gif

ok here's the start

I got them out of the brine, rinsed and dried, then lightly coated with old bays seasoning

cut up some greatneck squash and paned it with some apple juice and brown sugar, spinkled with

a little Buemonde seasoning. going to smoke over apple wood

will give the squash a touch of smoke and finish in the oven.

naked out of the brine and patted dry

gently rubbed

I forgot to do a plated picture, by the time everyone got here I didnt think of it til we were done eating.

anyway, the turkey legs turned out perfect. it was the first time I brined them before smoking and I will

say that time allowing I dont think I will smoke them again without brineing first.

they were tender and juicy.

I cant wait to do a whole turkey the same way.

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving! SUBMIT
