Hello everyone, my friends all call me B-sh, i am from Oceanisde, N.Y. which is on the south shore of long island.  I've been reading the threads and post here for a while and loved it all i decided to finally take the plunge and join up.  i have a perfect flame 18' vertical gas smoker and i am almost done with a plywood smoker based on pops' plans from the forum.  excpet he's a hell of alot better at woodworking than i am.  mostly i make my own fresh sausages and beef jerky, and have just started smoking turkeys.  two going in the brine for thanksgiving tonight.

First off Welcome B-sh to SMF. Right now I'm in I guess north jersey I don't quite know but I'm in the atlantic higlands area of jersey. Not to far from the city I can see the Varizano bridge thouYou'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.
