I made a blackberry hot sauce I really happy with the taste but not the thickness is there any thing I can add that won’t affect the taste to thicken it up or should I just simmer it longer? Thx guys

I run my water pan dry too but I’ve never had a problem with the fat burning up and causing bad smoke what makes you think that was the cause ??interested in the answers others may have
Made a steak sandwich on toast with onion peppers mushrooms and homemade cayenne hot sauce. The peppers are from my garden last year I sliced and blanched last fall then froze definitely will be doing that again, it nice to be able to just reach in and grab a handful when cooking.
