I grew up with my grandfather cooking on this model of grill. His food was always better cooking on it compared to the gas one he later had to switch to since the retirement community he moved into did not allow charcoal or wood. I remember for my 8th birthday he cooked Tri-Tip in it. I can still smell that wonderful roast cooking in that.
