I got this smoker because i blew up my last gasser, that's another story. I have since made hot dogs kielbasa, Canadian bacon, venison roasts/jerky/ snack sticks/ hot dogs/ pepperoni, pulled pork, brisket and lunch a few times. I can get it to hold temps around 115 deg consistently and from there on up. I burn chunk that I cut from logs, and get 2-3 hours per chunk. Very little fuel usage, most of my smokes are low temp long smokes, 10-14 hours, and i have adapted to run a 100 pound tank. I am yet to run out of fuel would recommend this smoker to anyone one looking for a larger gasser.
