Pros: Sweet and Tangy Sauce, copied from the Restaurant
Cons: Commercial Sauce, but still very good
Derived from the Montgomery Inn Restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio, this sweet and tangy BBQ sauce brought the title of "Ribs King" to founder Ted Gregory by local food critics in 1968. Comedian Bob Hope would have Montgomery Inn ribs flown to his home in Arizona by private jet. Though not a southern style sauce coveted by Pit Masters to cover their offerings please don't count this sauce out as a crowd pleaser the next time you fire up the smoker. You might be pleasantly surprised at how much you may enjoy this Yankee BBQ sauce!
