I ordered my Lang Mobile 60 Deluxe in Aug 2009 and it was delivered to my house on Sept 17, 2009.
I ordered my Lang with the fire box upgrade which I paid an additional $50.00 for. I now understand that this is a standard feature on the Deluxe models (units with the Warmer box.)
This unit performs just as Ben Lang states on his website. I can fire this smoker up and have it up to temperature (300°) within 30 minutes. Once the meat is placed in the food chamber, the temps settle down to around 250°. Slight adjustments to the air intakes will allow you to lower your operating temps. You need to remember to let the smoker settle in whenever you make changes to the air intake. It takes about 15 minutes for the chamber temps to change when you make changes to the air intake.
My only concern was the overall appearance of the welds and some of the cutouts on the air intake vents. A weld on one of the slash guards had popped loose but was easily fix by my son the welder. As for the air intake vents, the cuts are rough and could have used some attention with a light tough of a grinding wheel. This in no way affects the use of the vents.
