Head Country All-Purpose Championship Seasoning

Pros: award winning rub

Cons: Pricey & not always available

This rub is pretty much all I use. It is a little pricey but always delivers the best results. Should be available online tho. I don't need to use a lot.

The manager of the Head Country factory goes to our church here in Ponca City OK. He was telling me the difficulties of marketing both the sauce and the rub nationally. He will get product into WalMart and then they turn around and drop it. He is never done working on distribution.

Pros: great flavor

Cons: not locally available in most places

I used this on my first Pork Butt, and it was so good that I haven't bothered making my own rub for pulled pork.  That and Pork Spare Ribs are the only two things that I've tried it on, and while it was good on the ribs, it wasn't what I was looking for (I mix up a Memphis-style rub for ribs now).

If you can't get this locally then it's worth ordering some online -- the flavor really is that good (and get some sauce while you're at it, too)!
