Pros: Cooks very well. Doesn't dry out the meat. Great smoke flavor.
Cons: Keeping heat consistent.
This is by far a great offset smoker. I love the fact i can put logs in it to maintain a consistent smoke flavor and not worry about little chips. I don't mind that i have to check the temp often because it's what i choose to get (offset). I also have a vertical master built smoker and it's doesn't give the same flavor or the desired color to the food as does the offset smoker. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm very happy with this purchase. I got mine at Walmart for $159.00. I have tried some many of Jeff Phillips different recipes and all of them have came out the bomb.
