Pros: keeps ribs apart and allows airflow between, holds three slabs vertically plus 6 potatoes, easy cleanup
Cons: could have added another slab spot, instead of the potato holders (not really a con)
I have 3 other rib racks. This one is my choice due to it's design. It is the only rib rack I've found that actually holds the slabs apart so as to allow for airflow. This is very important when smoking because you want the smoke and heat to be evenly distributed across all slabs. I have an MES 40 with an AMNPS. With 4 of these racks, I can stand up 3 full St Louis cut slabs on each of the 4 racks. That's 12 slabs done, in 6-8 hours, after setting it and forgetting it! They all get done evenly and the smoke permeates every slab the same. It's the "must have" rib rack.
