I have used this grill several times during the summer and got very good results. I made several mods that I found on this website. 1- added a charcoal grate from Weber, 2- added a hole for thermometer, and 3- moved the second grate up higher so I can do 2 items at once. It took a lot of work to keep temperature. It seemed it was too high or too low. Maybe that,s just my inexperience talking. The brisket and pork butt came out great. I did use real charcoal pieces, not brickets and chunks of cherry wood instead on chips. They last longer.
