Pros: Decent gauge steel. Large smoking area, Large firebox.
Cons: Doors do not seal well. Unwieldly if you have to move it. Without Mods the temp near the firebox is much higher than anywhere else.
I have had one of these over a decade. I bought it from Walmart at the end of the season for 150 dollars. It took me a while to learn it but once I did I started turning out what I believe is very good Pork butt, Ribs and chicken. My first attempts were mediocre at best. After a few Mods, lowering the smoke stack down to the grate and using a aluminum cake pan as a baffle it turned out pretty good Que.
These are no longer available through Retail outlets. your best bet is to pick one up used. Or if you live in Texas, they are occasionally sold at Brinkmann's outlet:
In fact I am getting ready to refurb mine I like it so much. As part of the refurb I will add tuning plates etc...
