The pot is actually a chimney charcoal starter. It's just old and looks in bad shape but keeps on working. I think it was the cheapest one I could find at Home Depot. Ha-ha.
I don't remember the post the recommendation was in. The main focus in the post was about the food and not pre heating the wood tip. I'm not even sure how I'd search for it again. I'm thinking I saw it 3 weeks ago? Maybe the original poster will see this and chime in.
