With all the posts with yoshidas lately I felt left out so I stopped at Sams Club on the way home from work and grabbed a jug.The wings only marinated about 30 minutes. Next time I'm going to add some sea salt and let them sit overnight. I smoked with cherry wood, was good but the smoke flavor was very light. Did them on the UDS and of course the customary qview. Also threw on some hot links for a pot of beans in the crock. Enjoy.

I think adding a little salt and sitting overnight would be a great idea.
Personally I think it needs some heat added (couldn't get the spicy version) but with the salt then sweet then finishing trailing butteryness some heat would be a perfect addition combining with the sweet then fading as the butteryness finalizes the flavor profile.

What were the sausages you had going?

I used my water pan with charcoal just underneath the wings and the temp was just under 200* I pulled them at 165* tossed a plate over the bowl for 15 minutes and perfect. I was thinking about adding some Chile Arbol powder that I made to the mix also next time. Maybe I'll do half and half to taste the difference. The links were Earl Campbell hot links that were 50% off, I like them bargains.

yoshidas is very forgiving as far as over marinating goes i have marinated like 3 days with it and was still ok.

They Look Great...

Maybe we should proclaim Yoshida's the Official Marinade of SMF...

That and proclaim it Yoshi for short !

Those wings look so good I could just dig into a good big plate of them about now.

good looking que.... I haven't used Yoshida's in years....

Maybe add some heat by putting in diced roasted peppers into the mix?
