What is the cut names specifically? Is it rib roast? or is that ribeye? or is prime rib just ribeye smoked whole then sliced instead of sliced first?

Prime Rib may be the best dang food on the whole planet.  Yours looked great! (past tense due to your immediate consumption).  Keep it up.

Take it out @120* and it will !

Let rest for 35 min.-1 hour and it will be awesome.

I rest mine in a covered cooler,pretty much the same way you do Brisket or butt's.

Officially it's called a "standing rib roast". "prime rib" is a colloquial term believed to have originated because the roast is cut from the rib primal cut.

If you slice it before cooking it becomes a rib steak(bone in) or rib eye if boneless.
