    Hello, My name is Cullen I'm 27 years old and I currently live in Chicago,IL. I smoke on a Masterbuilt 40 inch electric smoker but I did just come into a used traditional off-set wood smoker that I am going to refurbish for use. Most of my smoking experience has been with mostly pork and chicken. However I am planning to start getting into more beef products. I am new to the forum world but I am looking forward to start asking questions and getting some good conversations started.

    Welcome from SC, Cullen. I know you will enjoy this site and all the great folks who are eager to share their ideas, tips, recipes and anything else you need. All you have to do is ask. I'm glad you got the offset. You will enjoy the flavor and playing with fire. You don't even have to plug it in or worry about an element burning out. Can you tell, I'm a fan of stick burners.     Good evening form the Windy City, Joe. I am very excited to use my offset. I just finished sanding it today and I will hopefully getting painted and sqaured away by the end of the week. I will post a picture once it is finished. Cullen

    Welcome!  Very happy you joined our group.  I'm from Texas and we like to smoke a lot of beef down here. Briskets can be tricky.  But you are in good company.
