This is a long drive for me, but for a guy who may want to upgrade from an ECB in the future, would the folks on the forum perhaps pursue this deal:

This is a heck of a drive for me, probably 180 miles RT, so looking at at least 35-40 bucks in gas, just to go have a look.

I haven't heard of these New Braunfels smokers (they get good reviews on the net) and figured my next smoker would either be a side box smoker/grill or a weber smokey mountain, but if this is a good deal, maybe I should pursue it this weekend. Thoughts?

even figuring gas in your way ahead of the game with what this cooker sold for new, make sure what shape it's in ..not rusted out..get him to e-mail you more pics.. don't know anything about this cooker, but if nothing else i think you could still resale it and make a few bucks.i'd go for it.

I'm betting that the smoker is beat! I think the seller knows the true value and that's $35.00. I would not spend a full day unless it were in like new condition . Retail is $250.00.
