Women and smoked meat

Today I realized I love that my wife is like good BBQ, best when she is rested, a little saucy, and well marbled ;)

Mine is a godsend, helps me on every smoke, can tend the smokehouse, sack turkeys, hams, chickens, hang 'em in the smokehouse, runs the grinder, sanitizes, the works!  She is not only my caregiver, she is my partner!

Sounds like you have a winner too Pops. I wish mine would take a little more interest in it. Well, on second thought maybe not. She already grills better than me! Don't want to lose ALL my manhood! :-)

Well you folks sure are lucky.  My Better Half want nothing to do with smoker, the finished product or me after a smoke.

My girl love's grilling and smoking foods, will haul wood tend fires help with prep and sit with me all day when smoking. She's also a sports nut, bbq and a good woman life is good:bluesbros::usa:

My missus won't start it, but she does always volunteer to help with the prep and has offered to keep an eye on it since I got the maverick. She calls the smoke-aroma an aprodisiac... haven't used my gas grill in about 8 months..

I sure wish Trish got into the smoking thingy with me, but she just waits till it's done and eats it, nothing wrong with that , but would be more fun together.

She is  my best 'Critic' , leading me to a better finish.

  GREAT comments about the beautiful women who are the love of or lives and keep us going everyday.  Hello Pops, I have already commented on what a quality relationship you have, I am envious of all those years you two great folks have spent together.  Hello Stan my good friend!  You are forgetting something IMHO.  That is Miss Trish's job!  Quality control!  She makes certain you don't produce a sub standard final product.  Keep Smokin!

My wife smokes with the best of them!  I've even finally remember to say, "Marlboro Menthol Ultra Light 100's" when I pick her up a pack.  Took me a few years to finally get it down.

In all seriousness (is that allowed on here?) she has no problem helping me when it comes to prep or smoking.  She has no problem telling me if I screwed up or hit a home run.  Heck, she's even willing to help me build a smoke house when we move next month!
