I have been smoking meat for a very long time but I have never made link type sausage such as hot links. I have all my equipment standing by and several recipes from this site just need help choosing a good quality hog casing. I have been looking at amazon as I do have a prime account.

Purchase from a commercial supplier to insure fresh casings.... Butcher/Packer, Syracuse Casing Company, Walton's,, Michlitch etc.... and do not buy the home packs... they are filled with odds and ends...
We have a new member on here that has started a craft supply ..... Evan M Brady.... he's into charcuterie and has some great threads...

Thanks again Dave I'll read the info 1st thing in the morning. Tonight I'm cold smoking cheese and paying homage to Sam Adams Boston Lager.

..... Yesterday I bought Miller Lite in those 16 oz. aluminum bottles.... first time I saw them...

AND I DO NOT LIKE BRAD KESELOWSKY....

Just to make that perfectly clear.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

same for Joey Logano.....
