I recently came into possession of an older Weber 22.5" kettle, and by "older", I don't mean "worn out". It appears to be in very good condition, and is old enough to still have a WOOD handle on the lid and rolled steel handles on the kettle itself!! Very heavy-gauge metal compared to today's models.

What I would like to know is.....does anybody know where or if I can get an extension for this? I've seen the "Thunder Pit" extension.....but they are not currently being manufactured or sold by Thunder Belly's BBQ.

If that's not an option.....maybe someone knows where I might find plans to build one for myself?

Any help is much appreciated!

Eric
