I have a Weber Genesis propane grill. Does Weber offer a conversion kit to natural gas? The grill is only a year old, so I really don't want to shell out another $600. The new home I moving to has ng available, so I thought I may switch. I looked on different web sites and I 'm not finding anything useful. I'm an hvac/refrigeration tech, so if I had to I'm sure I could drill the flame ports out and add a regulator. I just thought it would be nicer to get a factory burner if they are available.

All you need is to be able to hook up the supply line to the house without the propane regulator. The house already has one, AND drill out the orifices for each burner. The store should be happy to show you how to get them out and may be prepared to drill them for you. You need a numbered set of bits and the chart to know which bit to use. Its actually very easy for someone who knows what they are doing, and could be dangerous for someone who does not .
