venison jerky

  1. Hi everyone i have jerky it in my oven before but i was thinking of trying it in my brinkmann vertical smoker. Has anyone ever gone that route. any ideas thanks

    I make it in my electric smoker all of the time. You have to be able to keep the temp at 125* to 150* I keep mine at 150* ..And I use Todd`s AMAZNPS to make my smoke...

    Just like roller I do mine all the time.  I have a Brinkmann electric vertical smoker.  If you grab an AMAZNPS from Todd, you can get great smoke at these lower temps.

    Yep an AMNPS makes jerky, sausage, and bacon real easy to make.
