Got two nice cheeks on with mesquite and pecan. Plan on letting them ride all nite!
Nice post up pic when she's done.
About 3-1/2 hours in the WSM running dry top butt and bottom butt are within 1* of each other. Same as the last cook pretty even if you ask me. Will post pics in the morning!
looks good i usually run them on the same rack...
b-one is that the gasket kit I see? Just ordered that today and way wondering how it worked? I was having trouble maintaining temps with all bottom vents closed d the temp still climbed to over 250 verified by my 733. Wondering how you like it if that is the gasket kit?
Should be some tasty pulled pork!
No gasket kit here to lazy! Just added some charcoal and it's off to work.
Butt one done about 16 hours.
Butt two about 15-20 min later.
Nice! Gonna be some good eats!
Thx do you find things on both levels cook close to the same time? I read comments on the temp difference the last two times I've done dual butts with in about 15 min of each other. I need to pull these things so more pics soon!
Here they are pulled!
Here's the bones and waste.
Looks real nice ! Thumbs Up
Looks real good! You should get that hanging rig for the WSM, hanging sure works good.
I passed on the PBC as I was leery of hanging food! But maybe some hangers for chicken wings at the very least imagine how many would fit in there!:drool
Made some pp quesadilla's for dinner tonight!
Man O Man. Two butts cooking within 1* of each other--pretty impressive. Great looking pulled pork. Bet the hound will love the leftovers and bone LOL
b-one nice job on them.
Thx, but the Jack Russell only gets what hits the floor or he steals and we have learned to push food to the back of the counter!
