Here is todays smoke some Mackerel and Mullet,oak smoked on the trusty ECB.

being landlocked here in minn(not counting lake superior and the erie canal etc...) i rcognize those as all saltwater fish. what do you do for prep before smoking on those as far as a brine etc... look great!!!!
 
Heh, salt water fish are brined their whole life just waiting for a smokeer

mac's and mullet, I thought for sure this thread was going to be posted by an old Florida cracker...good to hear you get the good stuff across the pond too...(trash fish make the best smoked fish)
 
Thank you for the kind words,I catch alot of fish,but don't eat em,so family and freinds get a good suply of smoked fish,the ECB is real good at smoking fish.
