Hi folks! I have been smoking for a year or so now and have learned a lot from the folks on this forum.

I have the small GOSM and it has worked well for me. I do feel a little cramped though when wanting to cook for a crowd or even do multiple dishes.

I live near Louisville KY and have been poking around town a bit looking for a GOSM Big Block and have not found any. Also, I was kind of hoping to find a end of summer of clearance sale.

Anyone know of anywhere around here that would carry the big block smoker and are there any others that I should be considering other than the GOSM.

I smoked three racks or spares and a couple of fatties yesterday and didnt have room in the smoker for my ABT's, so obvously I need a bigger smoker!

Thanx!

Jeff

I have heard rumors that GOSM wasn't being built anymore. The Camp Chef Smoke Vault should be readily available from any Sportsman's Warehouse.

Jeff,

BassPro was carrying the Big Block, at least up through June of this year. You might check the store over in Clarksville, IN and see if they have any in stock or if they can transfer one from another store.

It still shows as being available through the catalog so I'd give them a try.

Can't say this will work. The GOSM's have been getting pretty thin but I'd think checking with BassPro would be a good bet. Good Luck!

Ifin ya find the GOSM yall wan't ya better buy it at whatever price, gettin hard ta find. I'd check on line, sears has a rig I thin was built almost identical. The smoke hollow (thin that be the name) rig would be my next choice, as I've looked at them they are very similar ta the GOSM. I bought several smoke hollow accesories an put in my unit. There sold at gander mountain an I'm sure other places.

I got the 24" smoke vault because I couldn't find the Big Block anywhere. Awesome smoker, awesome customer service. I would recommend it to anyone. It's nice and solid. Holds heat well easy to maintain. Only complaint is that it's a bit low for me, looking to build some kind of stand or cart for it. But any propane smoker your giong to get will be the same.
